Your First Visit
What to Expect
On your first visit, you can expect to have a conversation first with one of our doctors about what’s bothering you. The doctor will then perform a complete evaluation of your condition including: range of motion testing, palpation, postural assessment, orthopedic and neurologic testing. After this examination, the doctor will determine if diagnostic tests such as x–ray, MRI, CT scan–to name a few of the most common tests ordered, are necessary in your case to render a diagnosis and provide an appropriate treatment plan. Because we have a long standing relationship with the testing facilities and specialists in our area and extensive knowledge of the numerous insurance programs, our office is most often able to obtain any appointment necessary with the various facilities or specialist in our area in a quick manner.
At that point, we’ll talk to you about what we’ve found and what we recommend for treatment. If you’re a candidate for chiropractic care, we may treat you on this visit. Of course, we won’t do anything without talking to you about it first and explaining what we’re going to do.
If you’re not a candidate for chiropractic care, we will recommend you to some of the top doctors in our area who specialize in the care you need.
